A trillion bill is a lot of money but not so much when you factor in hyperinflation. The 10 trillion Zimbabwe banknote is the only printed genuine issued currency by a central bank that has the word 'Trillion' in its denomination!
Some additional interesting facts about the 10 trillion dollar note are that:
- The words “dollars” are printed on the currency unlike other types of hyperinflation money
- The amount is written as "Ten Trillion" and also contains the numbers of 10,000,000,000,000 on the actual note
- It is written in English and not in a foreign language like other hyperinflation paper money
- The front contains balancing rocks from Harare, a cow on the right and the Zimbabwe bird
- On the reverse is the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe building and the ruins of Great Zimbabwe
